Merry Christmas from Stralsund – ThaiGer-H2-Racing

At this year christmas time we, the ThaiGer-H2-Racing Team, are proudly looking back on the last three years, in which we could win the European Championship. We were able to defend our title two times through continous development of our racing car. Also, for the next year we are already working on promising concepts we want to realize.

Shell Eco-marathon 2019 Netherlands – Challenger Event

From may 22nd to 25th 2019 we participated in the Challenger event o the Shell Eco-marathon in the Netherlands. We used the competition as preparation for the main event in july, the Shell Eco-marathon in London.
During the competition we collected a lot of useful data and our driver gained useful experience. With a result of 779,9 km/m³ hydrogen we reached the second place.

Shell Eco-marathon Europe 2019 London

From july 2nd to 5th 2019 we competed in the Shell Eco-marathon in London.
We achieved a range of 1083 km/m³ hydrogen. This equates to a distance of 3295 km with one litre gasoline equivalent. Consequently were able to prevail against the other teams in the category Prototype-Hydrogen. Even more it was the first time we reached the 1000 km/m³ H2 mark, which is a substantial improvement to the previous year.

Preparations of an Urban-Concept car

As already indicated last year, this year we put lots of resources into the development of an Urban-Concept car.
First of all in the focus of our work during the last months are the the CAD construction and the design. We are happy about the enthusiasm for the project coming from both the experiencend and the new students in our team.
Therefore, we are confident that already next year we will be able to convert the chassis from the digital to the analog world.
