Since our first racing car in 2008 we build a total of 7 racing cars for the hydrogen-prototype category. Starting in this year we are developing and building a much bigger one for the Urban-Concept category.
Prototyp
The ultralight prototype racing car (23 kg) which the team built and optimised over the last years, fascinated not only other international teams but also the members of the Shell eco-marathon jury. The lightweight construction played a major role in achieving the distance of over 1082 km per cubic meter of hydrogen, which corresponds a range of 3295 km per litre of petrol. It is thanks to these successful technologies and our highly motivated team from the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences that we were able to experience a successful contest.
